From 2028

The New International Corporate Championship

Beginning in 2028, the KF1 Corporate Challenge Championship will bring the format created in 2003 to six Grand Prix events across six countries. Tunisia 2027 remains a separate international event and the gateway to this new Championship.

The KF1 First 50

The Tunisia 2027 Invitational is the first international standalone event in a format created in 2003. Its 50 teams will become The KF1 First 50, recognising the teams that open the new international chapter of the KF1 Corporate Challenge. They will receive priority access to the registration window for the 2028 International Corporate Championship before it opens to other companies.

Championship 2028

The Plan

The Championship will include the Italy Grand Prix in Naples, the San Marino Grand Prix in Milan, one Grand Prix in France, one in Spain, one in Morocco and a final round in Tunisia. Each event follows the same 24-hour format and charitable commitment.

The Championship standings recognise the company, brand or private-team identity entered for each team. Individual drivers may change between events. The separate KF1 Two-Team Trophy rewards organisations entering two teams under the same identity.

Race format

One Format Across Every Grand Prix

  • 8 hours × 3 heats = 24 hours
  • Best two count for the race
  • All three count for research

Each Grand Prix lasts exactly 24 hours, divided into three eight-hour heats. At the end of each heat the karts are lined up on the grid according to the standings at that moment and the race restarts; the restart time is part of the 24 hours. For the sporting classification, each team’s best two heat results count and its weakest result is discarded. This keeps the competition open throughout the event: at the night-time restart, everyone can still win. For the charitable commitment, every completed lap across all three heats counts towards the team’s donation.

Recognition

Awards and Standings

  • Each Grand Prix awards first, second and third place. Each podium team receives twelve medals for its drivers and one trophy for the company, brand or private-team representative.
  • The pole-position driver receives a separate recognition. Pole position does not award Championship points.
  • KF1 Corporate Championship: only the better result of an organisation’s two teams counts at each Grand Prix.
  • KF1 Two-Team Trophy: the points scored by both teams carrying the same company, brand or private-team identity are combined across the Championship.
  • The registered identity must remain consistent; individual drivers may change between events.
  • A team that does not start, does not participate or retires scores zero for that Grand Prix. No minimum number of rounds and no discarded Championship result apply at this stage.

Circuits and promoters

Host a Future Grand Prix

KF1 welcomes enquiries from circuits, destinations, tourism bodies and local organisers interested in hosting a future Championship Grand Prix. Proposals will be assessed for sporting suitability, operational capacity, destination appeal and local organisational support.
