Why KF1

Four reasonsto suit upand hit the track

Networking, team building and training, a memorable experience and social value, in a single event.

KF1 brings together in a single experience content, values and messages that are rarely found together: relationships built without formality, a real opportunity for team building and training, recognition that stays in the memory and tangible social value.

Networking without barriers

No jacket and tie. No need for a business card: name and company are already on the racing suit. The setting is the same for everyone, and so are the emotions: novelty, surprise, challenge. Distances shrink. And during the night, a little tired and a little grimy from the track, formality fades away naturally and first names take over.

A quip about an overtake, a coffee with someone who has just finished their stint: relationships often begin right here. And they can go far beyond the finish line.

In the pit boxes and hospitality areas, managers, entrepreneurs and professionals from different companies and sectors meet. Stories, skills, experiences and passions cross paths. Conversations begin that would hardly have happened anywhere else. A conversation sparks an idea. An idea becomes a shared project.

We have seen it happen since the very first edition, in Arezzo, in 2003.

Bring your management, the clients you value, the people you want to get to know better. For a day and a night, you will all be on the same track.

Winning team knows how to change

As in aviation, where almost everything is prepared on the ground and managed in flight, you arrive at the track with a plan: who decides, who drives and when, how long each stint lasts, who follows the times in the pit box, who talks to the driver.

Practice reveals what cannot be seen on paper. Who is fast, who is consistent, who stays clear-headed under pressure, who can make decisions, who can hold the team together in the toughest moments.

The race starts. It puts the plan to the test and asks the team to do what sets the best teams apart: read quickly what is happening, decide, and realign the strategy on the move.

In 24 hours anything can change: a breakdown, a performance below expectations, the unexpected, a strategy to be rethought in a few minutes. The times on the monitor constantly measure the choices made and force the team to face reality. From that moment on, planning above all means knowing how to replan.

Energy and recovery become strategy too. An endurance race demands speed, consistency, clarity and the ability to make the most of the resources available, in an extraordinarily powerful setting for living and observing strategic skills as they happen, and for discovering, at times, talent and leadership where no one would have thought to look. Everyone finds their place. On track. In the pit box. In the moment when the team needs holding together. And it often surprises.

Strategic leadership. Collective intelligence. Resource management. Trust.

Organisational challenges packed into 24 hours.

Team building you don’t play. You race it.

An invitation to remember

There are invitations you accept out of courtesy. And invitations people still talk about years later. Those are the ones that leave their mark and create a special bond with whoever offered them.

In past editions, companies have used KF1 in different ways: an internal competition for the sales force, with the best twelve making the team at the end of the year; an invitation to strategic clients, far from the meeting rooms; a mixed team of management, top clients and top sales, to give a shared experience to people who usually meet mainly across the negotiating table.

Those who are invited do not watch: they join the team. They have a role, a racing suit, their own turn at the wheel. And around them they find everything they may only have seen on television until then: the pit box, the technicians, the timing, the briefing with race control, the starting grid.

Those who raced in the Italian editions still say it: for 24 hours they felt like real drivers, even if the day before they had never worn a racing suit.

And around the track there is a whole event: the red carpet and the inaugural dinner, the awards party, the Mediterranean in October, hospitality that lives up to the experience, time to discover the destination and its culture.

It is the whole that makes that invitation unique: being chosen to live something that could hardly be lived otherwise. You go home with stories to tell, new relationships and a bond with those who made the experience possible.

Because some invitations end up in a diary. Others come to life and stay. Sometimes for ever.

A lasting commitment

Taking part in KF1 also means contributing to medical research, alongside Fondazione Telethon, committed to rare genetic diseases, and the Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation (FFC Ricerca). For a company, it is a value to share with its people and to talk about, with transparent donations published at the end of each event.
